Today's Bride 2017 Cover
HILARY TENZING // HUES OF BLUES

I got to photograph in the most stunning of spaces in the newly design Claremont Hotel and have it published on the Cover of Today's Bride Magazine!

A Note from Wedding Designer & Stylist, Cindy Danbom of Bella Notte Events
There are times as a stylist when the stars align and you are granted all of your wishes for a styled shoot. This is one of those dreams. The Claremont Hotel, now owned by the Fairmont Group, has recently undergone an extensive, stunning remodel. Nestled in the Berkeley Hills, like a beacon of the East Bay, the Claremont Hotel offers jaw dropping views of the bay and San Francisco skyline. The vibe is immediate, and elegant.

Our sexy couple first met over martinis in the South of France. Both in town for the Cannes film festival and crossing paths, he was definitely shaken and stirred! The Hilary-Tenzing room is a most stunning shade of blue, rich but not overwhelming. The design of the space has a very sleek, strong masculine feel, think James Bond. The only thing that can best 007 is a strong sexy woman.

Our amazing leading lady wears an effervescent floating taupe gown by Tara LaTour, who makes stunning wedding couture for the cool kids. The woven bodice includes braided straps, and the softest, airy skirt you can imagine. She is strong and sexy, while the same time being feminine and delicate. A sultry, smoky eye is topped with a sparkling headpiece by Marie Elena. Everywhere she goes she can't help but be noticed.

There isn't anything more appealing about a man than confidence. Our groom, clean-shaven, sporting a well tailored Hugo Boss slim fitting suit, is relaxed and ready to welcome guests with a signature martini.

The long sleek black table welcomes guests with lush jewel toned florals, delicately balanced in pedestal mercury glass vases. Mixing metallics with pewter napkins from La Tavola, brass candlesticks, and gold flatware makes for a most refined presentation.

The coup de grâce of our shoot is the stunning 4 tiered cake. A playful mix of shapes and textures capturing both the hottest styles, with marbling and watercolor strokes in gold, we couldn't have asked for a more glamorous ending.

Casa Madrona Vow Renewal Part II

Here is the second part of Amber & Brad's luxurious seaside vow renewal ceremony on the balcony of Casa Madron's Alexandrite Suite. Following the private ceremony, we headed down to the docks, I simply love how Amber's couture gown she had design in Australia flowed with the wind! The bride and groom and several of their guests traveled from all ove rthe world to celebrate along Amber's Native California Coast.

PS Does she look a little familiar? Yes! She's the twin sister of my gorgeous bride, Hilary (who just had the most darling baby girl btw) whose wedding I photographed in Italy!!

Casa Madrona Vow Renewal Part I

Overlooking the San Francisco Bay from the mansion balcony of Casa Madrona, Amber & Brad's vow renewal ceremony was such a dream. Following the ceremony we headed down to the docks, I just love how the mansion provided the most dreamy backdrop! Guests mingled all night while enjoying the fresh air and luxurious vibe, noshed on sushi, tapas and cake made from fine cheese wheels.

Hilary & Sean Tie the Knot on the Amalfi Coast
Part Two

Here is the second part of Hilary & Sean's dreamy Amalfi Coast wedding! We have only begun to scratch the surface of this incredible venue! Wait until you see the Crypt where the newly wed couple celebrated with dinner and dancing. AMAZING!!!

Words from the Bride and Groom
Un invito ad amare – Some say it’s not where you are but who you're with that matters, we decided to combine the two. A late summer wedding on the Amalfi Coast of Italy with our closest friends and family, what could be better?

The inspiration was simple – Natural beauty meets ethereal elegance; the biggest hesitation was defining the theme. I just had an idea of the look I wanted which was an organic, effortless, romantic vibe.

Each location was carefully chosen to exemplify the “destination” in Destination Wedding. We knew that if we got it right, our guests would deliver the final contribution: their own unique love and energy, making this an unforgettable trip. The wedding dress: I decided to work with local San Francisco talent, Suzanne Hanley at Atelier des Modistes. The dress holds special significance since it is one of a kind, and involved a monthly ritual involving my fiance in the quaint neighborhood of Russian Hill. Sean often enjoyed beer and pizza next door while the Powell/Hyde cable trolley passed by, waiting hours as Suzanne and I perfected our vision. Luna Convento for Welcome Dinner – an ancient coastal tower in the town of Amalfi. Designed to set the tone and create the high-level of excitement which was to carry throughout the rest of the week. The décor was kept simple to highlight the beauty of the venue – all white flowers with the world- famous Amalfi lemons incorporated in the floral arrangements.

Villa Cimbrone Wedding Day – the photos speak for themselves. The villa’s origins can be traced back to the 11th century. Once the private estate of a famous Italian aristocrat, now an exclusive 5 star getaway in the quaint town of Ravello.

Hilary & Sean Tie the Knot Amalfi Coast Style
Part One

Hilary & Sean's wedding along the Amalfi Coast was not just a dream wedding, but a dream trip and experience I got to enjoy with my husband for our own wedding anniversary. Celebrating the days before and after with Hilary and Sean made it feel like we've been friends forever. I'm so happy we found each other, they are such a fun couple and guess what?! This beautiful lady has a beautiful twin sister equally as fun and beautiful (who's vow renewal is coming soon)!!!!

This wedding was such a dream, the ceremony was on the lawn of Ravello's Villa Cimbrone overlooking the ocean. The ocean that eventually blended in with the sky took your breath away, but the extraordinary arch and aisle crafted and designed by Laboratorio La Rosa Canina was awe-inspiring. Laura Frappa of Exclusive Italy Weddings did a tremendous job not only designing this elegant affair, but all of the events ran seamlessly and our trip detail was flawless.
